Looe Festival of Food and Drink 2012
Long overdue, this will be a two day celebration of food and drink from Cornish producers and suppliers. The purpose built marquee situated on the Looe River will be packed to the rafters with some of the county’s finest offerings.. from chutneys to ice cream, wine to locally caught fish. Local chefs, all members of Taste South East Cornwall, some of whom have won awards for their restaurant food, will be holding demonstrations. Cooking theatre times will be posted as soon as possible, the demonstrations will take approximately 40 minutes and recipe details will be available for any visitors wanting to try the dish(es) at home. A diverse range of catering stalls will be selling to visitors wanting to sample everything from organic vegetarian dishes to tasty Thai to spicy paella. Easy access with excellent public transport links as well as ample car parking is readily available.
