7:00pm - 10:00pm Daniel Auteil plays a successful Parisian artist in the throes of a mid-life crisis: his wife is leaving him and he is alienated from his daughter. He escapes to the rural home where he grew up, where the garden has become an overgrown wilderness. He advertises for a gardener and is reunited with Leo, an old school mate. 11:15am  Walk starts at Pelynt church - the week starts with festival organiser Mark Camp. It will take footpaths & quiet lanes leading into deep West Looe Valley. following a maze of green lanes we will then ascent to the village of Duloe where refreshments will be available at the villages Ale & cider festival. 11:00am  Start Coombe Road, nr Railway Station - join Saltash Walk & Talk group for a leisurely walk on the south side of the town. Tue 21 Sep Cotehele Ramble
10:00am  Starts in the free car park by the river in Calstock (SX 435 688) - a days walk in & around the Cotehele Estate on the River Tamar. We will walk from Calstock up & down the Tamar Valley to Cotehele (NT) where we will have lunch on the quay. We will continuing walking around the estate in the afternoon before returning to Calstock by ferry. For those wishing to do a shorter walk of 6miles there is a ferry (small charge) returning to Calstock every 1/2hr starting from 2.30pm, or the afternoon could be spent at Cotehele & either walking the 2miles back to Calstock or catching the ferry at 5.30pm. 9:45am  Start Liskeard Railway Station (Looe platform) - everyone's favourite and has featured in the walking festival every year the 11 mile ramble down the West Looe Valley. Don't be put off by the distance most of the walk is along the valley bottom & there is only one short steep climb. Mark Camp will be leading the walk, using his skills as a Blue Badge guide to keep you informed and entertained along the route. Walk approx 61/2hrs including stops. Sat 25 Sep East Meets West - Chinese Brush Painting Weekend Course.
10:00am - 5:00pm Venue : Port Eliot Estate, St Germans PL12 5ND. OS ref SX359 578 East meets West. Port Eliot in St Germans is holding the first art weekend September 25th to 26th in Chinese Brush Painting. The course will be run by the amazing artist Xiao Bai Li set in the lovely surroundings of Port Eliot House. There will also be a chance to thoroughly relax with an optional two course lunch with wine in the Georgian Kitchen which is rarely seen by the public. There is a fascinating display of copper to see. The magical grounds are open for you to wander or you can meander in the woodland garden or stroll along the river. The cost is £ 65 per day with lunch or £ 50 per day without. 12:00pm  Start Trenant Woods car park, Polpever (SX235 552)- we finsih this year's walking festival with a walk in Trenant Woods. This year we are offering something different by walking along the foreshore to enter the woods. The reason for this is that we are hoping to catch good views of the Steam Trains as they come into Looe. We will then return through the woods to start of the walk.
